Taking time and care in the preparation of your home’s interior before painting can make a difference in the quality and outcome of your project.

These are the basic steps we apply when painting interior walls and woodwork 

  • Clean all walls and surfaces being painted and allow to fully dry  (If there is wallpaper, remove first.)

  • Scrape and remove old flaking paint, sand to a smooth surface

  • Repair damaged areas (Drywall repair, plaster repair, wood repair)

  • Caulk cracks between moldings and trim boards

  • Seal and prime all bare surfaces
